Best app for learning

Ive been using several apps for language learning, like duolingo Memerise or Rosetta Stone, but lingvist is the one that helped most. However, it is far more effective to use it in pc

Best French learning tool.

Used all the others apps, podcasts, tools for trying to learn French nothing has come close to the effectiveness and efficiency Ive picked up French than Lingvist. Must have.

Defenitely the best

Ive been using the website for a while, it improved my french in a incredible speed. Nobody believe me when I tell them I started learning french less than an year ago. The app definitely makes what was remarkable even better. Now its possible to learn french anywhere and whenever I have free time.

Glitchy app

This app is crap because I need to force close it every 10 words or so and restart it because it stops responding to me. Also there are way better apps out there that one can use to learn French, like duolingo or memrise. And these apps actually explain what you did wrong and it also explains grammar. I hate that this app forces you to do 150 words. There is no customization of goals. Like 150 is a lot of words for a beginner. Even if you are repeating them. Its too much and far too overwhelming. Also this app is only good for learning how to read and listen. It doesnt teach you writing and speaking. So if you want to passively use French then I guess this is a great app for you.

Awesome

If you are using the big language learning app that everyone uses then this is a must have second app. Free and awesome, go get it.

Good app, but it has some troubles with log in. When i leave app and then open again, it requires to re-enter my login/pass. iPhone 5s/ios 8.3

Application crash

The application doesnt work properly even after restart. Pls improve it

Fantastic App

(French) Good combination of verbs, nouns, adjectives etc. combined with grammar so youre not learning a random useless assortment of things. Ive been using the website off and on, the app seems to be just as good unlike DuoLingo

Takes it to a higher level

Sophisticated vocabulary, repeated as often as you need to drill it into you, and the grammar follows on its own. Its a good way to get you to reading fluency in short order.

Waiting on English to Spanish

Surprisingly Apt

This app came as a surprise. Language learning apps have cropped up by the dozens recently and most have failed to make a solid impression. Lingvist was refreshingly clear and concise. The algorithm for spaced repetition is seemingly fine tuned to the user and not a catch-all repetition youll find in other apps. Not 5 stars because only available for French, but if French is what you want, look no further. This is the last language learning app youll need.

Really am liking this app

As an American trying to learn French, this app truly surprised me! So far its my favorite language learning app along with Doulingo!

Best language app

Best way to learn a language by yourself. Efficient, concise and coherent. Looking forward to new languages. The only issue is that it requires constant internet connection. And two suggestions: 1) add images under words, so that learners memorize words even more efficiently. 2) the card swiping is not very efficient, it should be easier and faster.

Incroyable

I still have like 150 hours to go before Im quasi-proficient in French but I already recognize over a thousand words and can read French labels or emails. I started off with the website version and Im stoked that the app came out. Get it while you can!

Superb!

Several weeks ago, I added Lingvist into the mix of what I used to learn French. From then on, I have noticed an appreciable impact on said language. This particularly seems to be the case with my vocabulary. I strongly recommend implementing Lingvist into your language learning routine, or, at the very least, give it a try. If you are a fan of the Lingvist website and its design and functionality, you will be satisfied with this new mobile application as it looks and functions similarly.

Eh i would not consider this 5 stars

There is only 4-3 languages you can learn and if you fluently speak English you can only learn French and i wanted to learn Spanish

Only French

The only available language is French.

American engaged to a Frenchman

Hands down the best french learning app. As an english speaker currently living in France, this app is the perfect memory jog with a simple, functional layout with reading, comprehension, games etc. No lie my friend and I were on the app for two hours, having fun and learning. My French boyfriends family even noticed I had improved. Not to put Duolingo down, but I find this app more engaging with an actual takeaway. Very excited about this app!

maybe 5 language - USA ENGLISH NOT 1 of them

Hey...the slogan is great! Learn a language in 200 hours!!! Reality is, maybe 5 languages at best. I live in America and my language isnt even an option to begin with. Also, I want to learn Spanish (Spain and Latin American, respectively) and Portuguese (Brazil). Those languages are not an option either. Im very disappointed that wasnt mentioned in the app description before I downloaded. It is very misleading. Deleting it immediately.

French only

The only language available to English speakers is French. Its especially disappointing because I would love to learn Russian and this app offers Russian to English but not the other way around. Misleading app. Would try again if Russian and Thai were offered.
